We chose the starling as our symbol because it captures what actually matters: intelligence, unity, and adaptability. A single starling is clever, but a connected flock is something else entirely. During murmurations, millions of birds move as a single, fluid organism. The collective becomes smarter than any individual creature in the sky. No commands, just perfect coordination born from connection.
That principle mirrors how remote teams work at their best. When communication flows cleanly and people stay attuned to one another across distance, they don’t become slower or weaker. They become more capable than any one person or not-connected group could ever be.

Dr Srdana Taborosi, based in Hungary, is the Founder and Lead Consultant of our remote-first consulting agency. With a PhD in Management specializing in Applied Psychology and Organizational Behavior, she combines academic research with over a decade of hands-on experience in teleworking to help organizations thrive in distributed environments.
Dr Taborosi’s research focuses on remote and hybrid teams, and she actively publishes and reviews in peer-reviewed journals. Her mission is to bridge science and practice, translating complex research into practical strategies that drive real organizational impact.
